Single Cell Precision Inc. is proud to share that Founder Paola Marignani has been named a finalist for the 2025 Discovery Awards’ Science Champion category. Presented annually by the Discovery Centre, the Discovery Awards celebrate Nova Scotia’s outstanding innovators, researchers, and educators who are advancing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in meaningful ways.
The Science Champion category recognizes individuals who go beyond their own research to inspire others, promote public understanding of science, and foster engagement with STEM in their communities. Marignani’s nomination reflects her long-standing commitment to mentorship, science communication, and building inclusive opportunities for women and underrepresented groups in STEM.
“I am absolutely thrilled and deeply honoured to be named a finalist for the 2025 Discovery Awards Science Champion award,” said Marignani. “This recognition fuels my passion for promoting science, innovation, and technology, mentoring and leadership. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a community that values science communication, innovation, mentoring and outreach.”
This recognition underscores Single Cell Precision Inc.’s dedication not only to advancing precision medicine technologies, but also to creating a thriving and inclusive research ecosystem in Nova Scotia and beyond. The company looks forward to celebrating with the other finalists at the Discovery Awards ceremony this November.
