Founder Paola Marignani has been named one of the 2026 recipients of the Alumni of Distinction Award from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University. The award recognizes alumni whose work has made a meaningful contribution across research, healthcare, and community impact.
Over the course of her career, Marignani’s work has focused on understanding cancer biology and supporting the translation of research into practical applications. Alongside her research, she has contributed to training and mentoring students, fellows, and early-career professionals, helping to build capacity within the life sciences community. These areas of focus continue to shape the direction of Single Cell Precision Inc.
This recognition reflects not only individual achievement, but also the broader context in which scientific progress takes place through collaboration, mentorship, and the participation of patients and research partners. It aligns with Single Cell Precision Inc.’s approach to advancing precision medicine in a way that connects discovery with real-world use.
